Government Jobs: The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), a constituent of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is looking for suitable candidates to recruit for the following posts (Contractual) to work for the NISHTHA (National Initiative for School Heads’ and Teachers’ Holistic Advancement) and MOOCs on SWAYAM project. VACANCIES DETAILS
1. SENIOR CONSULTANT (ACADEMIC)
NO. OF POSTS: 03
SALARY: ₹60,000 per month
QUALIFICATION:
Essential Qualification: Master degree in e-learning/ English/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics with M.Ed from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable: - Ph.D., D.Litt
- Preferably NET/ SLET Qualified
- Degree/ Diploma/Certificate in Management
- Good Communication skill in English/ Hindi or both
- Certificate of participation/ completion in online courses and/or experience as online course coordinator/ admins
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum 5 years of experience of handling educational projects in academic as well as managerial positions at the national/state level with fair practical knowledge of coordination with States/ UTs, project management, report writing etc.
2. SENIOR CONSULTANT (TECHNICAL)

SALARY: ₹60,000 per month
QUALIFICATION:
Essential Qualification: Master Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology/ Computer Engineering along with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology/ Computer Engineering from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable: - Certificate in technical skills
- Certificate of participation/ completion in online courses and/or experience as online course coordinator/ admin
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum 5 years of experience of handling IT projects in a lead techno-managerial position, with experience in one or more of the following areas: Learning Management System, Information and Data Management, Development of scalable software using open source technologies, Collaborative content creation and Content management systems.
3. ACADEMIC CONSULTANT
NO. OF POSTS: 21 (Accountancy -1, Biology - 2, Business Studies -1, Economics - 1, English-2, Geography - 1, Mathematics-2, Physics -1, Psychology -2, Sociology - 1, Urdu - 1, ICT/ ET/e-learning - 1, Computer Science- 2, Education - 3)
SALARY: ₹45,000 per month
QUALIFICATION:
Essential Qualification: Master degree in the respective school subject listed in the name of the post with M.Ed from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade (or) Master Degree in Education/ eLearning/ Psychology/ Urdu/ Hindi from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable: - M.Phil, Ph.D., Preferably NET/ SLET Qualified
- Experience and proficiency in ET/ICT
- Knowledge of Research Methodology and skills in development of research tools, collection and analysis of data, report writing etc.

EXPERIENCE:

4. TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

SALARY: ₹45,000 per month
QUALIFICATION:
Essential Qualification: Master Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology/ computer Engineering from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade (or) Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology/ computer Engineering from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable: - Certificate in courses related to CMS/ LMS

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum 3 year in case of holding a Postgraduate degree or 5 years in case of holding a Bachelor Degree. Working experience in handling Learning Management System, Content Management Systems, Creating and management of online course. Data base management of LMS, trouble shooting in LMS, delivery and certification of online courses through LMS.
5. INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER

SALARY: ₹45,000 per month
QUALIFICATION:
Essential Qualification: Master degree in elearning/ Instructional Design/ Education/ Educational Technology/ English/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable: - Certificate/ Diploma in instructional design.

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working as instructional designer in developing e-Courses or e-Content in leading educational projects. Fair knowledge of working with various technology tools in developing e-Content.
6. GRAPHIC ARTIST
NO. OF POSTS: 04
SALARY: ₹29,000 per month
QUALIFICATION:
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate in Multimedia/ Design/ Graphics/Animation from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable: Proficiency in Corel Draw, Adobe, Page Maker, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design etc.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 1 years experience in designing multimedia, graphics, animations, illustrations, developed advocacy materials etc for educational purposes
7. DTP OPERATOR
NO. OF POSTS: 03 (English -1, Hindi - 1, Urdu - 1)
SALARY: ₹23,000 per month
QUALIFICATION:
Essential Qualification: - Graduate in any subject from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade
- One year Diploma/ Certificate course in DTP from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable: - Skill in designing digital/ eBooks
- Skill of working in bilingual (English and Hindi/ English and Urdu/ Urdu and English/ Urdu and Hindi)
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 1 year experience in reputed publishing house (Govt./ Private) in developing course material/ books/ manuscripts etc. Working experience with Indesign, Adobe Suite.
8. DATA ANALYST

SALARY: ₹35,000 per month
QUALIFICATION:
Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Statistics/Mathematics/ Data Science/ Information and Data Management/ from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable: - Certificate of participation/ completion in online courses and/or experience as online course coordinator/ admin
- Understanding of big data management.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in data analysis using R/SPSS/Python, end-to-end planning of data management, working with large scale data and to build aggregate tables/databases ready for consumption for data users and policy makers.
9. SYSTEM ANALYST

SALARY: ₹35,000 per month
QUALIFICATION:

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum experience of 3 years in case of post graduate degree of 5 years of experience in case of bachelor degree in developing MOODLE platform, managing the MOODLE platform, developing all essential database and other parameters for offering courses.
10. CONTENT DEVELOPER (TECHNICAL)

QUALIFICATION:
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate in Computer Science/ IT/ Computer Application/ Computer Engineering from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum two years experience in digital content management (creating/ uploading/ management of eContent/eBooks/ Digital books) in CMS/ LMS. Exposure in working with online course design and delivery.
11. CONTENT DEVELOPER (ACADEMIC)
NO. OF POSTS: 04 (English -1, Hindi -1, Urdu - 2)
SALARY: ₹30,000 per month
QUALIFICATION:
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate in English/ Hindi/ Urdu from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade
Desirable: - Typing in respective language using computer applications/ softwares
- Certificate of participation/ completion in online courses and/or experience as online course coordinator/ admin.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum two years experience in econtent development, creative writing, language editing. Strong language skills and working knowledge on computer applications/ educational softwares.
12. JUNIOR PROJECT FELLOW
NO OF POSTS: 05 (Education/ elearning/ ICT/ Educational Technology -3, Computer Science/ IT -2)
SALARY: - Rs. 25,000/- (consolidated for NET Qualified) Rs. 23,000/- (consolidated for not NET Qualified)
QUALIFICATION:
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate in the subjects listed in name of posts with B.Ed from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable: - Having excellent command over English/ Hindi for oral and written communication
- Certificate of participation/ completion in online courses at experience as online course coordinator/ admin.
EXPERIENCE:
Atleast one year of working experience in online course devlopment, delivery and certification.
