India Government Mint, Kolkata (West Bengal), is one of the nine units of “Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited” (SPMCIL), a Miniratna Category-I, Central Public Sector Enterprise, wholly owned by Government of India incorporated on 13.01.2006 under the Companies Act, 1956, with the objective of designing, manufacturing/printing security documents, currency and bank notes, non-judicial stamp papers, minting of coins, postage stamps, etc.

VACANCIES DETAILS

1. SUPERVISOR (TECH.OPRS.)

NO. OF POSTS : 10

AGE LIMIT : 18 – 30 Years

SALARY : Rs. 26,000 – 1,00,000

QUALIFICATION : 

1st Class full time Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Metallurgical). Higher Qualification i.e. B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc.(Engg) in the relevant trade will also be considered.

2.  ENGRAVER-III

NO. OF POSTS : 06

AGE LIMIT : 18 – 28 Years

SALARY : Rs.  8,500-20,850

QUALIFICATION : 

Bachelor of Fine Arts (Sculpture/Metal Works/Painting) with atleast 55% marks

3. JUNIOR OFFICE ASSISTANT

NO. OF POSTS : 12

AGE LIMIT : 18 – 28 Years

SALARY : Rs. 8,350 – 20,470

QUALIFICATION : 

Graduate with at least 55% marks and computer knowledge with typing speed on computer in English @ 40 wpm / in Hindi @ 30 wpm, as per the requirement.

4. JUNIOR BULLION ASSISTANT

NO. OF POSTS : 10

AGE LIMIT : 18 – 28 Years

SALARY : Rs. 8,350 – 20,470

QUALIFICATION : 

Graduate with at least 55% marks and computer knowledge with typing speed on computer in English @ 40 wpm / in Hindi @ 30 wpm, as per the requirement.

5. JUNIOR TECHNICIAN (ELECTRONICS)

NO. OF POSTS : 16

AGE LIMIT : 18 – 25 Years

SALARY : Rs. 7,750 – 19,040

QUALIFICATION : 

Full time ITI Certificate in Electronics Trade along with one year NAC certificate from NCVT.

EXAMINATION FEES AND INTIMATION CHARGES

Rs. 600/- (Non-Refundable) for candidates belonging to Un-reserved, EWS and OBC Categories. 

SC/ST/PWD applicants are exempted from the payment of examination fees, however, SC/ST/PWD applicants have to pay Rs. 200 as intimation charges.

EXAMINATION CENTRE

Online examination will be conducted at different centers in and around Kolkata city only.
