Government Jobs : VIGYAN PRASAR has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill their vacancies in various posts at Noida/Delhi office for different programmes/projects viz., Science Channels project India Science – 24×7 internet based TV channel www.indiascience.in , DST Golden Jubilee project, INDIAN SCIENCE NEWS AND FEATURE SERVICE, ACS project and Women Technology Programme (WTP) on purely contractual basis. VACANCIES DETAILS

A)  INDIA SCIENCE – 24×7 INTERNET BASED TV CHANNEL

1. Project Consultant (Production)

No. of Vacancies : 01

Salary : Rs.1,20,000– Rs.1,50,000

Age Limit :  Below 60 years

Qualification : 

Graduate Degree from a recognised University/Institution

PG Degree or Diploma or equivalent in Mass Communication or film studies or from a recognised University / Institutions.

At least 15 years of experience of overall video production and channel management in a reputed TV channel/production house.

2. Project Manager Content (Engage with Science)

No. of Vacancies : 01

Salary : Rs.80,000 –Rs.1,00000

Age Limit : Below 55 Years

Qualification : 

Graduate Degree from a recognised University/Institution

PG Degree or Equivalent in Mass Communication or Public Relations or Management from a recognised University / Institution.

At least 8 years of demonstrable experience in a reputed media organisation or PR firm with strong communication and engagement skills in English.

3. Project Asst Manager Editorial (English)

No. of Vacancies : 01

Salary : Rs.60,000–Rs.80,000

Age Limit :  55 Years

Qualification : 

Graduate Degree from a recognised University/Institution

PG Diploma or equivalent in Mass Communication from a recognised University / Institution.

At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in a TV/FILM channel, national newspaper with strong scripting / writing and conceptualisation skills in English in subjects related to science, technology, environment etc.

4. Project Asst Manager (Editorial– Hindi)

No. of Vacancies : 01

Salary : Rs.60,000 – Rs.80,000

Age Limit : Below 55 Years

Qualification : 

Graduate Degree from a recognised University/Institution

PG Diploma or equivalent in Mass Communication from a recognised University / Institution. 

At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in a TV/FILM channel , national newspaper with strong scripting / writing and conceptualisation skills in Hindi in subjects related to science, technology, environment etc.

5. Project Asst. Manager – Science Communication

No. of Vacancies : 01

Salary : Rs.60,000 – Rs.80,000

Age Limit : 55 Years

Qualification : 

M.Sc / MPhil / MTech in science or engineering from a recognised University/Institution.

At least 3 years post-qualification experience in science communication using Television, Print Radio, Web portal, Social media etc. Must have excellent writing skill on science and technology-based stories, interviews, and content using different formats etc.

6. Sr. Project Technical Officer – (IT)

No. of Vacancies : 01

Salary : Rs.55,000-Rs.60,000

Age Limit : 55 Years

Qualification : 

MTech/BE/BTech/ MCA from a recognised University/Institution.

 At least 3 years post-qualification experience.

B) DST GOLDEN JUBILEE PROJECT

1. Content Editorial Coordinator (Post Content Aggregation Coordination)

Salary : Rs 60,000 per month

Age Limit : 58 years

Qualification : 

Graduate in any stream, with more than 10-years of hands-on experience of content acquisition and editorial related work in media houses of repute

C) INDIAN SCIENCE NEWS AND FEATURE SERVICE

1. Reporter

No. of Vacancies : 01

Salary : Rs.30,000/-

Age Limit : Less than 30 years. 

Qualification : 

(i) Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution;

 (ii) At least 2 years of experience of reporting in media.

D ) ACS PROJECT 

1. Project Associate

No. of Vacancies : 01

Salary : Rs. 15,000-20,000/-

Age Limit : 40 years

Qualification : 

The qualification should be Bachelors in any discipline preferably in Accounts/Finance or related subject. Knowledge of basic accounting software is desirable accounts.

E) WOMEN TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMME (WTP) PROJECT

1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

No. of Vacancies : 01

Salary : Rs.35,000/- +  24% HRA Per Month

Qualification : 

1. Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science/Science policy Or Graduate/post Graduate Degree in Professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following:

Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR- UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE The selection process through National level examinations conducted by central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

2. Two years of research experience in Scientific areas preferably in Science policy, Science and Technology for development
