Government Jobs : Kerala Forest Research Institute (KSCSTE) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of Project Assistant and Project Fellows vacancies. VACANCIES DETAILS

 

1. Project Assistant

 

Project No. KFRI/ESTM 04/2020-21  : “ESTM-04 Maintenance of Museums in KFRI Peechi Campus” (Wild Life Museum).

No. Of post  : One

Duration  : Up to March 2021 (Extendable based on project requirements)

Essential qualification  : First Class B.Sc in Zoology.

Minimum one year experience in curation/maintenance of a wild life museum and handling visitors.

Desirable qualification  : Experience in collection, identification and preservation of the wildlife of Kerala. Training in wildlife/natural history museum curation, knowledge in taxidermy, preparation of pugmarks, photography and computer applications. Good communication skill in English and Malayalam

Fellowship  :  Rs. 19,000 per month

Age  : 36 years as on 01-01-2020. Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be given.

2. Project Fellow

Project  No. KFRI-RP 809/2020  :  Genetic Improvement    of Teak-Phase  II: Locating Plus Trees, Establishment of Clonal Multiplication Area and Clonal Evaluation trails.

No. Of post  :  One

Duration  :  3 Years from September 2020 (Up to September 2023)

Essential qualification  :  First class M.Sc in Botany/Forestry and Proven Knowledge Vegetative Propagation/Nursery Management

Desirable qualification  :  Experience in field works and knowledge in computer application GIS.

Fellowship  :  Rs. 22,000/- per month.

Age  :  36 years As on 01/01/2020. Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be applicable.

3. Project Fellow

Desirable qualification  :  Experience in field works and knowledge in computer application GIS.

Fellowship  :  Rs. 22,000/- per month.

Age  :  36 years as on 01/01/2020. Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communication as per government rules will be applicable.
