Job Alert : ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources are invited Applications to attend Interview (in-person/ online through video conferencing) for the following posts Research Associate III (Bioinformatics, Database, website and mobile app), Project Associate-I, Scientific administrative assistant/Field worker under DBT funded network project Mainstreaming rice landraces diversity in varietal development through genome- wide association studies: A model for large-scale utilization of gene bank collections of rice” for a period of five years (up to Feb. 2025). 1. Research Associate III Bioinformatics
> No of Posts :- 01
> Salary :- 54,000 + 24% HRA
> Age Limit :- 35 Years
> Qualification :- Doctoral Degree in Biotechnology/ Plant breeding/Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences /Bioinformatics or related subjects.
2. Research Associate III Database, website and mobile app
> No of Posts :- 01
> Salary :- 54,000 + 24% HRA
> Age Limit :- 35 Years
> Qualification :- A) Post-Graduation in Computer Science or Computer Application with 60% marks or equivalent. Each degree and diploma should be from a UGC recognized university.
B) At least two years of research experience in the area of database and application development with evidences in the form of research papers, databases, tools, etc.
3. Project Associate-I
> No of Posts :- (Five for NBPGR & one for DBT)
> Salary :- 31,000 + 24% HRA
> Age Limit :- 35 Years
> Qualification :- Master's Degree in Agriculture/Botany/Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences or related subjects with specialization in Bio-informatics/Biotechnology from a recognized University or equivalent.
4. Scientific administrative assistant/Field worker
> No of Posts :- 04
> Salary :- 18,000 + 24% HRA
> Age Limit :- 50 Years
> Qualification :- Graduate degree in any discipline
